How much does Mindbody cost?

As of October 2026, Mindbody's business pricing page shows a "Starting at $99 USD/month per location" headline for its entry plan, while the FAQ on the same page says the entry plan starts at $79. The higher tiers, Accelerate and Ultimate, are "Let's talk": you get a price from sales. So the honest answer is that the entry price is published but inconsistent, and anything beyond the entry tier is a quote.

When you budget for Mindbody, ask the sales team three things in writing:

• Which tier you actually need. Marketing automation, branded apps and multi-location reporting usually sit above the entry plan.
• Payment processing rates. Mindbody makes money on payments, so the processing rate often matters more than the subscription.
• Contract length and renewal. Check the term, the notice period and what happens to your price at renewal.

JBMOnboard360's prices are on the pricing page. Professional is $79 per user per month billed annually ($99 monthly) for client records, scheduling, invoicing, forms, team chat and AI meeting summaries. Business is $399 per location per month billed annually ($499 monthly) with unlimited users, and adds the help desk, the WhatsApp concierge and the lead inbox with follow-ups. Enterprise starts at $349 per location per month for 10 or more locations, billed annually.

Who should stay with Mindbody

Mindbody has been the default for fitness and yoga studios for a long time, and for good reason. Its consumer app sends new clients to studios, it handles class schedules, waitlists and passes, and it takes payments at the front desk and online. Stay with Mindbody, or pick it, if:

• You sell classes, class packs or memberships, and auto-renewing billing is how you get paid.
• A meaningful share of new clients find you through the Mindbody app.
• You need card payments and POS and want them in the same system as the schedule.
• Your clients expect text-message reminders.

JBMOnboard360 does none of those four things in the US today. If they are the core of your business, switching would make it worse.

Why people search for a Mindbody alternative

The reasons we hear in consultations fall into three groups. Some owners can't work out what they will pay, because the published price is the floor and the features they want are on quoted tiers. Some run a practice that isn't really a studio, such as a wellness clinic, IV hydration lounge, med spa or coaching business, where appointments, intake and follow-up matter more than classes. And some multi-location groups find that location managers need a way to raise problems with HQ and track them, which a booking system was never designed to do.

A note on health information

Wellness businesses often collect health history on intake forms without thinking of it as protected health information. If you are a HIPAA covered entity, or work for one, the system holding those forms needs a Business Associate Agreement.
