JBMOnboard360 / CRM for consultants

CRM for consultants and professional services

A CRM for consultants that remembers every call for you.

JBMOnboard360 is a CRM for consultants and small professional services firms. It keeps each client's intake form, call summaries, action items, requests and invoices in one record, and reminds you who needs a follow-up. Pricing starts at $79 per user per month, billed annually.

The real problem

Consulting runs on conversations, and conversations get lost

A consultant's pipeline is mostly talk: a discovery call, a scoping call, a weekly check-in, a quick question on chat. The trouble is where those conversations end up. Notes sit in a note-taker's library, client inputs arrive by email, requests come in on five channels, and invoices live in accounting software. When a client asks "what did we agree in March?", the answer takes twenty minutes to find.

Many small firms pay for a separate CRM, note-taker, chat tool, form builder and invoicing tool. A CRM for consultants should collapse that into one record per client, so the next call starts where the last one ended.

Follow-up after a discovery call

Send it the same day. Pull the action items from the call summary.

Hi [Name], thanks for the time today.

What I heard: [one-line summary of their goal].
What we agreed:
- [Action item 1, owner, date]
- [Action item 2, owner, date]

Next step: [proposal by date / second call on date].
If I missed anything, reply here and I'll update it.

Nudge for a quiet lead (day 5)

Hi [Name], following up on [topic]. Is this still a
priority for this quarter? If timing has changed, tell
me and I'll check back in [month].

Renewal check-in (30 days before)

Hi [Name], your current engagement ends on [date].
Here's what we delivered: [2 to 3 results]. I'd suggest
[next scope]. Shall we book 20 minutes to plan it?

Price

What a CRM for consultants costs on JBMOnboard360

  • Solo consultant: Professional at $79 a month billed annually ($948 a year), or $99 monthly.
  • Three-person firm: 3 × $79 = $237 a month billed annually.
  • Firm of six or more in one office: Business at $399 a month billed annually with unlimited users at that location. It costs less than Professional from six users (6 × $79 = $474).

That price covers client records, scheduling, invoicing, forms, team chat with calls and AI meeting summaries, the lead inbox and reports. Because the AI call summaries are part of the product, you may be able to drop a separate note-taker. The AI meeting notes page walks through that math with published note-taker prices. If your firm advises healthcare clients and handles their health information, a Business Associate Agreement is included on every plan.

Fit

When JBMOnboard360 is not the right CRM for your consulting business

  • You live in proposals, contracts and e-signatures. JBMOnboard360 doesn't send proposals or collect e-signatures. HoneyBook (from $29 a month billed annually, per honeybook.com/pricing) and Dubsado (from $335 a year, per dubsado.com/pricing) are built around that flow for freelancers, as of October 2026.
  • You need clients to pay by card from the invoice. We create invoices and track payments, but we don't process US card payments yet.
  • You run a high-volume outbound sales team. A sales-pipeline CRM with sequences and dialers will suit you better.
  • You need a specific accounting integration. Ask us about your setup in the consultation. We won't promise an integration we don't list.

It's a strong fit for consultants and advisory firms that run ongoing client relationships, field client requests and want the conversation history in one place. Agencies with a similar model should read CRM for agencies. If you want the plainest possible setup, start with our simple CRM guide.

Questions

CRM for consultants: buyer questions

Do consultants really need a CRM?

Once you have more than a handful of active clients and leads, yes. A CRM keeps every conversation, agreement and follow-up in one place, so nothing depends on your memory or your inbox.

What is the best CRM for a solo consultant?

Look for one client record, intake forms, invoicing, follow-up reminders and a published price. JBMOnboard360 Professional covers the client record, forms, invoicing and AI call summaries at $79 a month billed annually; follow-up reminders and the lead inbox are on Business at $399 a month. If proposals and e-signatures are central to how you sell, a freelancer tool may suit you better.

Can I keep notes from client calls in the CRM?

Yes. Calls held in JBMOnboard360's team chat produce an AI summary and action items that are saved to the client record automatically.

Can clients send requests through the CRM?

Client requests can be logged as help desk cases with SLAs, so each one is assigned, tracked and answered instead of getting lost in email.

Does it integrate with QuickBooks or Xero?

We don't list accounting integrations today. JBMOnboard360 creates invoices and tracks payments itself. Ask about your setup in the free consultation.
